This Sunday June 15 at Calvary Chapel Waterford

God uses tools — nations, kings, even our lives — to fulfill His purposes. The question isn’t whether we’ll be used. It’s by whom — and for what. In Isaiah 10, we see God wield Assyria like a rod to discipline His people. But when pride crept in, that same tool became the target of judgment. Assyria forgot they were never the master craftsman—just the instrument.

This Sunday, we’ll explore how God disciplines those He loves, how He humbles the proud, and how He preserves a faithful remnant who depend on Him in truth. From Assyria’s fall to the promise of the coming Branch—the Rod of Jesse (Jesus Christ) — we’ll see God’s justice and mercy woven together.

Come be reminded that your life matters in God’s hand. Don’t live as a tool for the world’s agenda—surrender to the One who restores, refines, and reigns.

We’d love to see you this Sunday at 10 am.
