This Sunday July 6 at Calvary Chapel Waterford

This Sunday at Calvary Chapel Waterford,  

we’re opening Isaiah 14:1–23—a powerful,  

prophetic glimpse into both the seen and  

unseen world. Starts off with God’s mercy as  

He promises restoration to a broken Israel.  

But Isaiah suddenly shifts tone, revealing a  

deeper reality behind the wickedness we see  

all around us, in empires and in the culture in general.  

A spiritual force. We’ll explore how Lucifer— 

“the shining one”—fell from heaven, and how 

 that same satanic spirit animates world systems  

even today. From Babylon to the Beast of Revelation,  

from ancient kings to modern ideologies, the Bible  

shows us that this battle is ultimately spiritual.  

But Christ. Yes, Jesus has already triumphed at the cross 

—disarming the rulers and putting them to open shame.  

If you've felt something is amiss, the world is overwhelmed  

but something other-worldly, there’s a reason.

proclaim the truth of Christ, and how our personal restoration  

is rooted in God's relentless mercy.
